No wake up time today. I didn't sleep last night which was particularly inconvenient because I had to take the first two parts of the German language university entrance exam today.

Not a comment on your wake-up time though it is hideous.
A suggestion that you replace Margaret Whent with Jeffrey Simpson as the featured Globe and Mail columnist in Wide Perspective, which, I might add, I really enjoy.
